[Aakash-hackers] Cross compiler for Debian and Boxer scripts for Aakash

Hi Srikant and others,

I was looking at getting a proper working cross compiler for Debian. Due
to recent upgrades of libc I couldn't install thibg repository provided
compilers. After discussing with emdebian folks I found crosstoolchain
project provided cross-gcc and cross-binutils wrappers to build
multi-arch cross compiler and binutils for Debian. There is also a good
news that this is gonna hit Debian main queue soon.

I managed to build binutils and gcc for armhf (sadly not able to do
clean install). I'm  still looking into this thing.

Also I did few commits on boxer to allow rootfs creation with boxer
script instead of writing new scripts. So you can see my changes in the
repository [1] there is branch called *aakash-dev* which has config for
Aakash rootfs creation.

At the momemnt I had no clue what extra software needs to be installed
so I tried only with e17 installation which sadly failed and I need to
see why it is failing.

So first step will be cloning the repository

   git clone --recursive git://anonscm.debian.org/boxer/boxer.git

In the cloned repository you will find a folder called tweaks here is
the place where we need to put tweaks. At the moment I've only defined
package class for aakash called *AAKASH* this file is at package_config/
folder here consider adding more packages.

Next will be other configuration of software which needs to be
installed. Each software can be configued (eg. network interfaces) by
dropping a file at files/etc/ folder under tweaks. As an eg. Aakash
specific network configuration can be dropped at

         files/etc/network/interfaces/AAKASH

you can check existing files to get a feel of how to use boxer. Do let
us know if you are struck at some point. Documentation is already
available in README file.

I've got a Aakash tablet but couldn't get enough time to explore it with
Debian. But I will do it soon. Mean while do use boxer rather than
writing another script and let us know if you feel something needs to be
fixed.
