[Adduser-devel] Bug#287535: adduser: letter as first character should not be required

Package: adduser
Version: 3.59
Severity: minor

Even when using --force-badname, while dropping all usual restrictions,
adduser insists on enforcing the use of a letter as first character.
This is not required by useradd, and thus should be allowed.
There is not really a reason to not allow it.
