Package: adduser
Version: 3.59
Severity: wishlist

Long, long ago, when the earth was still young (or so it seems :-), I
submitted a wishlist request to include one of my scripts as part of
the adduser package. And the then-maintainer Roland graciously did so.

It has come to pass, however, that the script that was included (and is
still being included) became out-of-date. In particular: the script
itself has undergone three revisions since being included; my contact
details have changed; and the URL for new versions has changed.

Could you, therefore, include the latest version of my adduser.local
script and associated files? You can find a copy at:

  ftp://ftp.zap.org.au/pub/utils/adduser.local/adduser.local.tar.gz

If you choose not to include _my_ examples directory (part of the
adduser.local.tar.gz archive), could you insert a note in the changelog
to that effect? Something like "Included an example adduser.local
script from John Zaitseff; see examples/README for instructions on
obtaining the complete archive" would be more than sufficient.

It would have been nice to include these changes for the up-coming
release of Debian Sarge, but I suppose I have left things a little too
late... :-(

Yours truly,

John Zaitseff

These bugs have been tagged as fixed-in-experimental, and are now
being closed completely. That should have happened long ago.

Greetings
Marc
