In my test, the timestamps were modified, but I cannot reproduce that
now.

But I noticed that the adduser.pot file was not in the svn repository,
which might have been a "challenge" to svn-buildpackage. Looks like
this was the issue. If not, I'll come back yelling at you. Thanks for
your help.
