[Adduser-devel] Bug#430640: adduser: deluser does not remove symlinks that does not point to file

Package: adduser
Version: 3.103
Severity: important

When using deluser with REMOVE_ALL_FILES=1 and BACKUP=1, symlinks
pointing to directory or dangling symlinks are not saved nor deleted.

Looking briefly to the source code of deluser, I think that other types
of files (socket, ...) are not managed too...

As directories are not empty (still symlinks, ...), they are not deleted
either. So, in the end, we got a system with homedir not deleted...

  Best regards,
    Vincent
