i just run into #469165 -- and it took me longer to realise what the
meaning of the message mentioned was than the timeout lasted. 
i got 
"Ok, you really want it, I'll delete that account
Looking for files to backup/remove ..."
at which point i hit ctrl+c and certainly hope no harm was done ...

so -- why would one be required to _cancel_ instead of _confirm_ such an
operation as it is done everwhere else where essential information is in danger?

bug #469165 only strengthens that point -- it would be far less
dangerous if one has to confirm the deletion ...
