So you suggest changing the wording to:

    --ingroup GROUP
           Set the new user's primary group to GROUP instead of a usergroup
	   or the default group defined by USERS_GID in the configuration
	   file. To add additional groups, see the add_extra_groups option
 
    --gid ID
           When  creating a group, this option forces the new groupid to be
           the given number.  When creating a user, this  option  will
	   make the group the user's primary group.
	   
Is this correct?

Frankly, I don't see a big problem with the old wording, but I am by
no means an expert in user management.
