[apt-build-devel] persistent flags

[apt-build development list]

Hello everyone,

I recently started to use apt-build and found little solid documentation
on the subject on the web, so I'm using this list. Please excuse me if
I'm doing a bad use of this list.

I made changes to the apt-build.conf, but I don't see these changes
reflected in the output of the compilation.
My first guess is that my changes are overwritten by debian rules
defined on the source.

Objectively, my first questions are:
1) how do I know if my changes were reflected in the final binary?
2) do I need make a script to modify the debian rules recursively on all
sources to make sure that will be used in compilation?
