[Apt-cacher-ng-users] Trivial Remap not functioning

I am attempting to get a trivial remap functioning, but it seems to be not processed as expected.
Can you spot the error?

The acng.conf file is:
Remap-D: http://ftp.debian.org/
ForceManaged: 1
LogDir:.

sources.list is:
deb http://localhost:3142/D stable main

`apt-get update` gives
Err http://localhost stable/main amd64 Packages
  403  Forbidden file type or location: /D/dists/stable/main/binary-amd64/Packages

or without ForceManaged:
 503  DNS error for hostname D: Name or service not known.
