Hi.
I've installed apt-cacher-ng on debian squeeze (0.5.1-3).
Then I've added a file in my Ubuntu

echo 'Acquire::http { Proxy "http://10.22.22.254:3142" ;};' > /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/00proxy.conf

The problem is that when I run apt-get update in my client I get a lot of 404 file not found errors:
W: Impossibile recuperare http://it.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/precise-proposed/multiverse/binary-amd64/Packages  404  Not Found
W: Impossibile recuperare http://it.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/precise-proposed/universe/binary-amd64/Packages  404  Not Found
W: Impossibile recuperare http://it.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/precise-proposed/restricted/binary-i386/Packages  404  Not Found

I've read the user manual and found no particular action I missed, also because the setup steps are very easy.
I found no error in apt-cacher.err.

What did I miss?

thanks
