This is an apology for not yet testing the software that you have re-written.
Sorry!

I do intend to test it, unfortunately I have been very short of time recently.

My University proxy server requires a user name and a password.  Presumably
I can test this interim version and at least see an error message about
authentication.

Thank you for your quick update to my initial forum message, and apologies again
for my slow response.
