The axel-2.4 tarball includes a axel-2.3 directory which makes it a little difficult for us to bump the version. Could this be corrected?

I'm sorry, but I can't reproduce this. We initially uploaded a wrong tarball with the version information set to 2.3, but it has been replaced since. Can you give us the URL of the tarball?
