You probably know this already, but just for the record on
ubuntu-devel-discuss, James Westby merged bash-completion 20080705 into
Ubuntu Jaunty the day after your mail.

(We do have an automatic system for tracking merges from Debian into
Ubuntu, but of course merges all have to be checked by hand so sometimes
they get temporarily forgotten. Thanks for the reminder.)

I definitely appreciated this when making a change recently! (You have a
bug report about it with a bzr bundle attached.)
