I often have files whose filename extension don't follow any convention and I'd like to have bash completion for them too. Please add a configuration option to enable completion independent of the filename extension similar to COMP_FILEDIR_FALLBACK but for every case not only as a fallback.

you may use built-in: Alt+/ (search bash(1) for "complete-filename")
