[Bash-completion-devel] bash-completion for tmux

Hello,
I discovered that bash-completion for tmux is not automatically installed in
Debian. Tmux currently ships a bash_completion_tmux.sh file in
/usr/share/doc/tmux/examples/. I found related Debian bug #648867 [1]. As I
understand the maintainers concern about the patch provided there I want to
find a clean solution for shipping the bash-completion file.
So my question is what's the preferred way of the bash-completion team for
shipping the tmux completion file. Should the file be included in the bash-
completion package or should it be installed to /usr/share/bash-
completion/completions/ (or somewhere else?) by the tmux package? I can come
up with a patch for both situations depending on what you think is the right
approach.
Greeting,
Maxi
