[Bash-completion-devel] Bug#740975: bash-completion: Files missing (only directories shown) when path starts with tilde(~)

Hi there,

I confirm this bug that has to do with the expansion of the tilde (~),
as the automatic completion behaviour is totally normal when I use
/home/jbde/ instead of the tilde to begin my path.

My environment is Debian unstable, with a 3.6.6 kernel on an i686
arch, and the following:

GNU bash, version 4.3.0(1)-release (i486-pc-linux-gnu)

and

Package: bash-completion
Version: 1:2.1-2

Thanks for having a look into this as soon as you can...

Regards,
   Jean-Baka
