Package: bash-completion
Version: 1:2.1-2
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

   * What led up to the situation?
On bash, I cannot autocomplete files starting with square brackets '['.
Example, if I have a file [aText].txt, and I want to do:
            $> cat [<tab>
        The file won't autocomplete.
   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
I usually just type the whole file just to have a workaround. But it would be tiresome for long filenames.
   * What was the outcome of this action?
Filenames starting with square brackets can't autocomplete.
   * What outcome did you expect instead?
Filenames starting with square brackets should autocomplete when the TAB key is pressed.
