binfmt means binaryformat. I think the kernel wants to execute a binary
which isn't supported. So it tries to insmod binfmt-9653. But since he
couldn't find it he bails out. Could it be that you forgot to compile in
some essential Kernel support for binaries like CONFIG_BINFMT_AOUT,
CONFIG_BINFMT_ELF or CONFIG_BINFMT_MISC? At least CONFIG_BINFMT_ELF is
always needed.
