that is true, except that I never sent those, as the archive can tell 
you [1]. I don't see what causes the fact that you had that mail with 
incorrect values, I suppose there is a problem with quoted printeable, 
as =52 is the qp encoding for 'R'.

oookay, obviously, my body is not encoded as it should, since in 
the "raw" mail source, I see:

  #  * https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5209

where I should see:

  #  * https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3D5209

so obviously python is doing sth wrong. my MUA was tolerant enough to 
not show me that, obviously because =52 is not a useful escape. But 
that's a miracle. will fix.
