About bts-link's remote/ as standalone python package?

Hi.

I noticed your changes in a git branch for bts-link
(http://git.debian.org/?p=bts-link/btsclient.git;a=summary), and the
discussion on :

Can you give us some update on what was the outcome of your attempts ?
Icouldn't find any mention on the bts-link-devel list :(

We are considering basing some work on bts-link too for work on
bugtracker synchronisation (for the HELIOS project :
http://www-public.it-sudparis.eu/~berger_o/weblog/2008/11/03/adding-gforge-bugtracker-support-in-bts-link/ ), so better not reinvent the wheel too much ;).
