Hi Colin!
Just been playing with CDBS, and have a quick question: why does the
simple-patchsys.mk module apply the patches to DEB_BUILDDIR and not to
DEB_SRCDIR? In the package inetutils, a tarball is unpacked into
DEB_SRCDIR, and DEB_BUILDDIR is set to $(DEB_SRCDIR)/build, so that
the binaries are built in this subdirectory. However, this means that
the patches don't work, as there's never any source code in
DEB_BUILDDIR.
Thoughts?
Julian
P.S. And should the description on line 2 of simple-patchsys.mk read:
Description: A simple ... instead of A sample ...?
