Wow, cool. :)

My suggestion with this is that once it seems to work well, you file a
bug on the package with a patch, and outline some of the problems that
CDBS-izing that package will fix.  Good examples would be stuff like
DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS=3Dnoopt, or getting rid of deprecated debhelper
commands.  Also probably include a pointer to the CDBS docs.
