I finally had a chance to analyze this a bit.  The issue comes about
because verbiste is a source package containing both a shared library
*and* a separate binary package of a program which uses that library.=20
This has always been tricky to handle, and unfortunately cdbs doesn't do
it completely automatically.

I'm still investigating why it worked with 0.4.13, but not 0.4.14.
