Yes, please!  This is one point were the learning curve
could be optimised a lot.  I often didn't understand some
mechanism of CDBS in the first step, just because the naming
scheme is difficult.

Perl would be a no-go area for me.  I did a lot of perl
stuff and it's the world of pain!  make, sh, or scons would
be better, don't you think?  Perl is evil, scons is cool :-)
