[Build-common-hackers] Status of development?

I'm getting the feeling that the people involved in cdbs maintenance are 
currently not able to spend the time that would be necessary to stay on 
top of things.  I and others keep sending bugs, many of which are 
trivial to fix or already include patches, but things go unanswered for 
a long time.  If someone would allow me, I would like to get involved 
in the maintenance of cdbs, managing the bugs and getting the patches 
and bugs fixes into CVS and new releases.  Thanks.
