The postgresql packages do not use any of these variables. I have no
idea why these messages are there, I just do

  include /usr/share/cdbs/1/rules/tarball.mk
  include /usr/share/cdbs/1/rules/simple-patchsys.mk
  include /usr/share/cdbs/1/class/autotools.mk
  include /usr/share/cdbs/1/rules/debhelper.mk

in debian/rules. This rather looks like a cdbs bug, I reassign that
for now.

CDBS maintainers, any idea about that?
