 Considering Debian lists are even more exposed to SPAM, yet open-post,
 and still these receive less SPAM, I know there are ways.  I won't
 describe those ways here as I don't know the one Debian lists use, nor
 whether the ways I use for my own mail would apply to Alioth, but the
 fact is there are ways.

 Instead of trying to change the individual configuration of each list,
 wouldn't it be wiser to request changes in mailing-list setup to the
 list masters, i.e. Alioth admins?

 My goal was not to stop you from halting SPAM, but to prevent a nasty
 setup with side-effects for bug submitters.
