I have imported the CDBS sources into the collab-maint subversion repository 
on Alioth.  (See http://svn.debian.org/wsvn/collab-maint/deb-maint/cdbs/)  
Obviously it would have been better to avail ourselves of the existing 
build-common project, but until we work that out I hope that the presence of 
this repository will be beneficial.
