Sounds great!

Personally, I do not read manuals when developing cdbs snippets, but 
simply get inspiration from existing snippets - they are all below 
/usr/share/cdbs.

I find it much easier to improve than start from scratch - so if 
you throw something together yourself and post it to 
build-common-hackers at lists.alioth.debian.org then I'd be happy to take a 
look at it :-)
