Note to self (or the friendly comaintainers):

The documentation of the python-distutils.mk class is stuck in the age of 
dh_python (or shortly thereafter).  For example, it does not mention that 
DEB_PYTHON_SYSTEM exists or is mandatory.  The section needs a more extensive 
review.
