Hi,
This is probably not so simple. There are many subtle issues to take into
account, like idempotency in all the targets, and ensuring consistency
("clean" can be run at any time, and it must always find the tree in a
consistent state and leave the tree in a consistent state; that is, any
of the targets (including clean) will work afterwards).
I remember struggling with this problem and it took me a while to control
all the corner cases. Before considering a patch for this problem suitable,
please check, at least:
