Current flags for CMake is a bit too verbose in my opinion, I suggest
changing -DCMAKE_VERBOSE_MAKEFILE=ON to -DCMAKE_VERBOSE_MAKEFILE=OFF
Also perhaps -DVERSION=$(DEB_VERSION) should be included as well or
similar.
