I could instead have echoed more to answer something like this:
You guessed right: there is still no news on this.

In addition to no news, there is also no progress, so you are again
correct: I haven't yet tested to patch. Neither have I considered if
anything is wrong with it.
Perhaps I would have been less rude to keep silent :-/
