The "File descriptor 4 left open" is a harmless warning from
lvcreate/lvremove.  It might indicate that schroot is leaving a file
open prior to forking, but I haven't seen it on unstable--it may be an
annoyance/bug in the sarge lvm tools.

I think the libpam and liblockdev in backports need much stricter
shlibs files.  After schroot 1.0.0 is release and has migrated to
testing, I'll update both of these, and then upload a 1.0.0-0bpo1 to
backports.

Thanks for checking that out.


I'll leave this bug open until all three packages are fixed in
backports.
