[Buildd-tools-devel] Bug#477938: unnecessary umounting and purging in 05file?

Package: schroot
Version: 1.1.6-1
Severity: minor
setup.d/05file umounts all directories under $CHROOT_MOUNT_LOCATION
and subsequently removes that directory and its contents. It strikes
me that this is something which should be factores into another
script. Since all chroot types mount and create inodes in
/var/lib/schroot/mount, schroot should clean up properly once and
for all, rather than letting each of the methods handle it
themselves.
Looking at 05lvm, which does not umount or clean, I wonder whether
it already does. In that case, maybe the 05file code is left over,
or you could add a comment to explain why it's needed.
