[Buildd-tools-devel] Bug#498276: sbuild: Fails in chroots with dpkg-dev <1.13.9 (<=sarge)

Package: sbuild
Version: 0.57.4-1
Severity: normal

in version 1.13.9 of dpkg, dpkg-source got a second argument for -x;
versions before 1.13.9 just fail when they receive a second argument:

  $ sarge? dpkg-source -sn -x mypack_1.2.3-1.dsc mypack_1.2.3-1
  dpkg-source: -x needs exactly one argument, the .dsc

sbuild always uses a second argument, thusly all builds in chroots
<=sarge fail.

It would be nice if one could ponder at run time what version of
dpkg-source is present, and omit the argument for versions <1.13.9.
