Dear Hamish,

I'd like to make a point release of schroot soon, and if at all
possible I would like to fix this serious bug (if it is a bug in
schroot) and/or prevent it if it's an issue with customised setup
scripts. I do need to understand the cause and circumstances
which triggered this dataloss before this is possible, however.

In my previous reply, I requested some further information about
your setup scripts and schroot configuration. I would be grateful
if you could provide this, if you could as soon as possible, and
any other information you have if you've been able to determine
what happened during your own investigation.

So far this has been the only reported dataloss incident, which
makes reproducing the fault impossible without the details from
your system.

Many thanks,
Roger
