Yes, that works fine with 0.60.0.

Yes, downloading the sources first and then invoking sbuild with the
local .dsc file works fine and builds the package.

I think that Michael is already on the right track, he started
debugging the code a bit and found a problem with open_log not being
called.

Yes, that's where Michael was looking already as well. I will have a
look at it and ask Michael to help me :).
