[buildd-tools-devel] Some buildd fixes.

Hi,

I was "toying" with buildd and friends and found some bugs with latest
versions. I wrote some patches which are fixing the issue for me so I
thought it was a good idea to send them here.
I'm not sure that the fix for get_db_handle is 100% correct but at
least, it seems right to me.

Oh, btw, I guess they should help closing bug #622102.
