[buildd-tools-devel] Bug#711277: contents of 1.7.0 tarball has changed

Package: schroot
Version: 1.7.0

There are at least two versions of the schroot_1.7.0.orig.tar.xz tarball
that exist in the wild.

One of them I can build, the other (current) one generates unit test
failures when I attempt to build it under Fedora:

1) test: test_run_parts::test_run2 (E)
uncaught exception of type N5boost10filesystem16filesystem_errorE
- boost::filesystem::directory_iterator::construct: No such file or
directory: "test/testdata/run-parts.ex2"

In particular, these two files are missing in the current tarball:

Only in older.schroot-1.7.0/scripts: test-driver
Only in older.schroot-1.7.0/test: run-parts.ex2

Could that be the cause of my unit test failures?

As an additional datapoint, I believe I was getting the same unit test
failures when I attempted to build the stable 1.6.5 version.

Here is a link to the relevant Fedora bug:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=969885

I am attaching a recursive diff of the two tarballs.

Any ideas of what to do are appreciated.

thanks!
