This is a known issue with debootstrap (#817236 as mentioned above)
which affects any tool trying to use a chroot. Josch, I'm curious as to
why you tagged the corresponding sbuild bug report (Cc'd) as
unreproducible; are you using debootstrap from stable? Anyway, I suggest
you also merge the build bug with the debootstrap one.
