Package: sbuild
Version: 0.74.0-1
Severity: wishlist
Hi!
If lintian is run within sbuild (as per the new default), I get:
.----
Lintian: pass
`----
despite a crapload of warnings.
Because of quite unfortunate placing of the lintian run in the middle of
sbuild's copious output, I am far less likely to notice this compared to
having to run lintian manually (which is also the reason I for one did not
keep this option enabled before -- but, if it's to be the default now, it
should be convenient).
I understand that you want to raise a big error flag only on "E" level
lintian output. But, "W" stuff tends to be severe enough that ignoring them
is not a good idea without at least taking a look.
Thus, what about a third case: "Lintian: warn"?
Meow!
