[Calendarserver-maintainers] Darwin Calendar Server

There are some patches that are yet to be accepted for calendarserver  
that allow LDAP integration. I believe these patches will never be  
officially accepted since Apple are not interested in alternative  
authentication mechanisms. What is the viability of including these  
patches in Debian?

The patches are listed in Ticket #260 of the calendarserver trac/svn.  
I know they are trivial, but it would be beneficial to a number of  
users if these were already included, or easily added by a script?
