Checking chrpath in Coverity

A few days ago, I registered chrpath project with the Coverity scan
service, and uploaded a build of the current subversion source.  The
result can be found on <URL: https://scan.coverity.com/projects/1179 >
for those that want to check it out.

It found 7 defects.  I've fixed 5, decided one (case fall through) is
intended and been unable to understand the nature of the latter defect
report (missing null termination on something that isn't really a
string).

The updated code is in svn, and I suspect it is ready to publish as
version 0.16.
