Actually, that already happens during the preceding remove step:

  Removing cipux-cat-web ...
  find: `/var/lib/cipux-cat-web/dpkg': No such file or directory
  dpkg: error processing cipux-cat-web (--remove):
   subprocess installed post-removal script returned error exit status 1
