Dear Zhang Weiwu,

fontforge has several different merge type finctions.  The one that  
which you may required is that of remove overlap, this changes two or  
more curves into one. This is found under Element->overlap-remove  
overlap.

Fontforge can do dome very clever things and it is worth the effort to  
learn how to use it.
