This is an automated email from the git hooks/post-receive script.

zumbi pushed a commit to branch upstream/latest
in repository device-tree-compiler.

commit 0cdd06c5135bd9f46853c2f58ad2ac91b0fa87f3
Author: Maxime Ripard <maxime.ripard at free-electrons.com>
Date: Fri Sep 30 15:57:16 2016 +0200

    libfdt: Add overlay application function

The device tree overlays are a good way to deal with user-modifyable
boards or boards with some kind of an expansion mechanism where we can
easily plug new board in (like the BBB, the Raspberry Pi or the CHIP).

Add a new function to merge overlays with a base device tree.
