It might depends on who you talk to, and what they understand by CUT.
It's true that during my discussions, I was mainly discussing
"snapshot for installation, then upgrade to testing/rolling". And the
release team was pretty happy with that fact that it would mean more
users of testing (or something similar), hence more bugs found in
testing.
