in Brazil, the portal www.SoftwareLivre.org recently migrated
completely to 'social network'.
I believe to be a trend and the future on the Internet, the portals
are 'social networks'.
Perhaps we think of a portal as 'social network' to d-c.org;

I know www.noosfero.org and www.buddypress.org *extension for wordpress*.
