Btw. it's odd that FreeBSD needs a primary partition. I still prefer
MBR. In the past I formatted my HDDs with one primary partition,
nowadays I format HDDs using all available primary partitions, before I
continue with extended partitions.
And another drawback is, that you don't have access from Linux to
FreeBSD, see attachment.
